Jim and Kara decided to do engagement photos at their ranch during the peak of fall colors. They got their horses ready and we went out to the hayfield nearby. The colorful trees made for the perfect backdrop with the lush green hayfield. Growing up on a farm and loving cattle and horses this was a dream engagement session for me. I’d definitely be replicating some of these photos for my engagement session one day using my own horses and cattle. Jim and Kara were incredible to work with. They both had such laid back personalities and weren’t afraid to bring out their goofy sides. To me this is where most of my favorite photos always come from. I love when my couples just relax and be themselves. It helps capture the natural beauty of everyone’s own relationships. Here’s some of my personal favorites from this engagement session.
