Jake and Jessie’s Glacier National Park Elopement is a day I’ll never forget. From misty fog in the afternoon amongst the wildflowers to an unbelievable sunset in the mountain valley, we got spoiled with incredible weather.
They began their elopement by hiking St. Mary’s falls. This is an easy hike and wildflowers can be found all along the trail. Fog began to roll in during our hike and created the perfect moody conditions with the dead trees all around.
We then continued to the waterfall to explore the area. There’s some cool areas around the falls that also include wildflowers. Please be careful around the falls as people have fallen in and been killed.
From St. Mary’s Falls we continued exploring the park and went to Sun Point. Sun Point in Glacier National Park offers stunning panoramic views of Lake St. Mary and the surrounding mountains, making it a popular spot for photography and sightseeing. The area features a short, scenic trail that provides access to breathtaking vistas and the opportunity to spot wildlife.
Big Bend is an iconic location in the park with one of the most grand mountain views you will see. Wild flowers cover the valley and it has magnificent 360 degree views with a waterfall opposite of the iconic mountains. It was the perfect spot for Jake and Jessie to exchange their vows and to end the day with an amazing sunset.
