Brian & Rachel Wedding – Home Place – Ogilvie, Minnesota

Brian and Rachel were so amazing to work with. They allowed me to have complete creative freedom with their wedding. Their wedding day was held at their little farm in Ogilvie, Minnesota. They setup a tent for the reception dinner area and held the ceremony under a beautiful tree out in the pasture. They had an unfortunate scare of rain coming for the ceremony but luckily the rain stayed light during the ceremony and quit shortly after. We didn’t get much light during the day as it was heavily clouded from the stormy weather. But man oh man did that sunset come through to end the night. When it came time for the first dances I quickly directed them to a spot on top of the hill to share their first dance so I could capture this moment against one of the most incredible skies I have ever witnessed. These easily were my favorite photos of the day as I’m a sucker for a colorful sunset. I think they both would have to agree. They ended their night by branding a wooden table with a custom brand they ordered with their wedding date included. This was such a special and unique idea as they will use this as their dinner table for many years to come.
